LBH 365 Terms & Conditions – Lagoon Beach Hotel

Your participation in LBH 365 Loyalty Program will be governed by the terms & conditions set out below. It is the responsibility of the member to read and understand them.

LBH 365 is a loyalty program offering benefits and rewards in relation to accommodation at Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa.

Member’s earn loyalty points (“LBH 365 points”) based on a rand amount spend on hotel room accommodation.

Please note the restrictions on benefits and the redemption of LBH 365 Loyalty Points set out below.

Membership and Fees

  • Any natural person may join LBH 365.
  • LBH 365 benefits are not transferable, but your spouse may also enjoy benefits if travelling with you.

LBH 365 Loyalty Card Benefits

In addition to the redemption of your LBH 365 Loyalty points towards payment for accommodation, your LBH 365 membership entitles you to further benefits:

  • 10 % discount at La Mizu Beach Bar, Brasserie Restaurant and Zorbas Restaurant
    • Only one LBH 365 card may be used per table or per reservation and must be presented on arrival at the restaurant.
    • Your dining discount will not apply on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years’ Eve, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, or for other special events, promotions, room service or in conjunction with rates inclusive of meals.
    • Dining discounts are not applicable for room service
    • Discount applicable for a maximum of 6 people.
    • Discount not applicable for Special Events, Functions or Cocktail Parties that are served outside of the restaurant.
  • 10% discount at Camelot Spa
    • Only one LBH 365 card may be used per reservation and must be presented on arrival at the spa
  • 10% discount at TUSK Travel Desk
    • Only one LBH 365 card may be used per reservation and must be presented on arrival at the travel desk
  • When you book into Lagoon Beach Hotel, enquire at reception about your complimentary room upgrade. Subject to the hotel’s availability, you will be given a higher grade of accommodation at no additional charge.
    • Hotel Room Upgrades are subject to availability of rooms on the day of arrival and / or departure and will remain at the discretion of management.
    • Due to high demand, hotel room upgrades may not be granted over public holidays, school holidays or during any prestigious sporting event, festival or peak period.
  • LBH 365 members are entitled to enjoy early arrival and late check-out privileges at no additional charge, when availability allows. Please advise upon booking if an early arrival or late departure will be required and the hotel will endeavour to ensure your room is made available for you. This will only be confirmed on the day of arrival and/or departure.
    • Early Arrival & Late Check-out privileges are subject to availability of rooms on the day of arrival and / or departure and will remain at the discretion of management.
    • Due to high demand, this benefit may not be granted over public holidays, school holidays or during any prestigious sporting event, festival or peak period.
  • Complimentary secure underground parking
  • Complimentary Shuttle to Century City, CTICC & V&A Waterfront (scheduled times)
  • Complimentary WIFI

Earning LBH 365 Loyalty Points:

  • Each time you stay at Lagoon Beach Hotel you can earn 10% of your accommodation spend back in LBH 365 points.
  • LBH 365 points work like cash, 100 points = R100 off the cost of your reservation.
  • Your “accommodation spend” is that portion of your final hotel bill charged for your room only, excluding any meals, drinks, spa treatments, telephone calls, laundry charges, or any other extras as applicable, and excluding VAT or any other levies or taxes.
  • You can earn points whether you’re travelling for leisure or business and as long as you are the one staying.
  • You’ll enjoy a complimentary upgrade to the best available room – and early arrival and late departure privileges.
  • LBH 365 points are recorded and credited to your account within 48 hours of your stay and are calculated on your total accommodation bill on qualifying rates.

Redeeming LBH 365 Loyalty Points

Redeeming your LBH 365 points is easy. Once you’ve accumulated LBH 365 points, they can be used as payment when booking accommodation. LBH 365 Points can be used to pay for accommodation in full or in part.

  • When redeeming LBH 365 points, 1 Point = ZAR 1.
  • You need at least 50% of the booking value available in LBH 365 points to make an LBH 365 points redemption. The balance can be settled by cash or card on arrival at the hotel.
  • To make your LBH 365 points redemption booking simply contact the hotel directly by emailing reservations1@lagoonbeachhotel.co.za or calling 021-528 2110, have your travel dates and LBH 365 Loyalty Card number on hand. Please advise that you are booking with LBH 365 Loyalty Points and then look forward to your free holiday.
  • Please be advised that should you fail to arrive without cancelling your booking, your LBH 365 points will be forfeited. Also note that any LBH 365 Points that would have expired at the time of cancellation will be forfeited.
  • Bookings cannot be made more than 6 months in advance of arrival.

Validity of LBH 365 Loyalty Points

LBH 365 points are valid for up to 24 months.

Other General Terms, Conditions and Restrictions

The use of your LBH 365 Points and all LBH 365 benefits are subject to the terms, conditions and restrictions set out here.

  • In certain instances, where members are staying with Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa  utilising special group rates (for example, as part of an airline crew, convention group, sporting team, education group, or a group utilising special tour operator rates) LBH 365 benefits may be restricted and members will not be able to redeem or accumulate LBH 365 Points
  • LBH 365 does not guarantee or warrant that any or all of the benefits or privileges of the program will be available at all times. LBH 365 reserves the right, to change, modify, limit or cancel any of the program benefits at any time. This includes increasing or decreasing any requirements for a reward, changing the value of rewards or limiting the availability of rewards, and changing Program partners. Members will be notified of any such changes.
  • LBH 365 points are not transferable from one LBH 365 member to another or to any third party and may be used only for the benefit of the card holder and his or her immediate family (spouse and children). Your LBH 365 membership is for your use only. Misuse of your membership can result in its cancellation, forfeiture of accumulated LBH 365 points, and any other action considered appropriate by The Company at Lagoon Beach Hotel’s sole discretion.
  • LBH 365 Loyalty Points may only be used towards the payment of accommodation and may not be used towards the costs of any other services, facilities or amenities (for example: meals, beverages, telephone or laundry services)
  • The accumulation and redemption of LBH 365 Loyalty Points and the entitlement to LBH 365 benefits are subject to the standard terms and conditions and rights of admission of the Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa.
  • Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa and LBH 365 reserve the right to cancel or withdraw a membership at any time, on reasonable notice to a LBH 365 member.
  • Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa is not liable for any omissions, acts, or defaults made by any of the Programme Partners.
  • Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa cannot be held responsible for correspondence sent to you, which is lost or delayed in the mail.
  • All bookings are subject to existing terms and conditions prevailing at the time of the booking, including meal and children’s policies.
  • Lagoon Beach Hotel reserves the right to verify the member’s identity to ensure the member receives all applicable benefits and rewards.
  • Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa reserves the right to request positive identification of the member.
  • LBH 365 benefits are applicable only when the member personally occupies the room. When special offers allow for booking more than one room, the LBH 365 member must accompany the party in order to receive special rates and any other benefits.

  • Benefits listed herein are only applicable to individual LBH 365 members.
  • No benefit may be redeemed for value or otherwise exchanged
  • Employees of Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa may not participate in the LBH 365 Loyalty program.
  • No travel agent commission is payable on any LBH 365 points redemption booking.
